Firestone EPDM Flat Roofs

Firestone EPDM RubberCover  is an excellent flat roof material. It is essentially a single sheet of rubber membrane which is adhered onto a timber deck. It’s good for garage roofs or dormer roofs but not the best option if it will get a lot of foot traffic. For high traffic areas we recommend Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP).

This roof covering goes down quickly, which is good for saving time on installation costs.

We give with this roof a 20 year guarantee and there is a 40 year life expectancy!

Churches and Heritage Buildings

Pennine Yorskhire boasts some distinctive architecture, not least in our churches. We also experience the worst of the weather that the UK faces. That so any of our heritage buildings are still in use is testament to the quality of the original construction. Yet even the best built edifice will eventually require maintenance, restoration, or even replacement.

At Fish Roofing we have restored numerous church roofs to their original glory. Many of the techniques used to build these magnificent buildings are becoming a dying art. We specialise in Yorkshire stone and heritage work. Where possible we combine modern materials to provide greater protection against the elements for many years to some. However, our goal is always to restore old buildings in a manner sympathetic to their original architecture.
